Sugar Grove Corn Boil Announces 2026 Theme Charity: Honoring America’s 250th with Purpose

The beloved hometown tradition of the Sugar Grove Corn Boil is preparing for a historic year in 2026 — and with it comes a meaningful announcement that reflects both patriotism and purpose.

The Sugar Grove Corn Boil will be held July 23–26, 2026, proudly celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary. Our mission is to promote community spirit, provide local civic and charitable groups with meaningful fundraising opportunities, and deliver affordable family fun—with our famous sweet corn as a featured favorite.

This year, as we honor our country’s 250th anniversary and reflect on our rich history. The 2026 Corn Boil is partnering with the American Legion to support veteran mental health through their “Be the One” campaign and K9s for Veterans, NFP.  At the event, we will offer red, white, and blue light-up bracelets and glow sticks for purchase, with proceeds—along with other fundraising efforts—benefiting these important organizations. #BeTheOne

About the 'Be the One' Initiative

The The American Legion “Be The One” initiative is a national movement focused on preventing veteran suicide by encouraging communities to support veterans, talk openly about mental health, and connect those in need with life-saving resources. The campaign aims to reduce the number of veterans lost to suicide by empowering people to reach out, listen and take action when someone may be struggling.

In 2026, the Sugar Grove Corn Boil is proud to name the local American Legion Post in Sugar Grove as its official charity partner in support of this vital mission. Funds raised during the beloved community festival will help support programs and awareness efforts tied to the Be The One initiative, ensuring veterans in our community know they are not alone.
